Reviews and Ratings
I was really looking forward to my stay at Pacific Bay Resort, especially for the price we paid, but it turned out to be regrettable. The grounds were beautiful and the restaurant was a highlight, but the rooms were quite dated and not as clean as I had hoped. While there are some nice amenities, the overall experience didn’t match the 4-star expectations, making it feel overpriced for what we received.
I often stop here when driving from Sydney to Brisbane, and it's always a pleasant experience. The rooms I stayed in were renovated and beautifully furnished, offering great value for money, especially in peak season. The grounds are stunning and well-kept, with a lovely pool that adds to the resort’s appeal. However, I did notice some discrepancies in the reviews regarding room quality, which might depend on specific units.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at the hotel. While the location is beautiful and the grounds are lovely, the dining experience and some aspects of the service fell short. The rooms, although clean, felt a bit outdated and could use more attention. Overall, it’s a decent place, but there are some areas that could definitely be improved.
Overall, my experience at the hotel had its ups and downs. The accommodation was spacious and offered lovely views, but the service at the Brasserie and Grill was a letdown. The food was overcooked, and it was disappointing not to hear back from customer service after raising my concerns. While the location was convenient for getting to town, navigating the hotel itself was a bit tricky at first.
I had a wonderful time at the resort, which truly exceeded my expectations. The view from my apartment overlooking the lagoon was stunning, and the facilities, including the well-maintained golf course, added to the charm. However, the dining experience fell a little short when my steak had an overly smoky flavor. Overall, a great stay with nice amenities, but the food could use some improvement.
